Do you know why I have not become a poet or an author?

Do you know why I have not become a poet or an author? It is not because of a lack of poems or stories or articles. It is not because I lack in topics. The real reason is I am not putting effort into the stories. I write a lot of stories, but I am not expanding it or elaborating on it. Because of that, my stories get bored sometimes. Before writing a story, I research, I have ideas, I know what I was writing. But when I start writing, my expanded universe starts to shrink.

The reading people cannot understand what I was thinking, or maybe they cannot understand what I want them to think. The main problem is when I start writing the people will expect something big or thrilling. But when I start to write, they feel disappointed because they did not expect this. They wanted to know more about this character, “What were his qualities?”, “How did this happen?” “How did that happen?” etc., questions like this will be everywhere.

I am writing this because everyone has talent, but they don't know or are not putting effort into it or are carelessly leaving it or not believing in his/her talent. Talent is something or the only thing that was born when you are born.
