In a Matter of Time PART-19 “The Great Escape”
Max was shaking; Tim suddenly catches Max from falling. And he asked him, “Are you okay?” Max weakly said, “No, I am not okay.” Tom said, “We need to get out of here.” Tim said, “How? This place is having double security than before.” Max said, “The vents, we can get out through the vent.” Tom asked, “These vents are filled with poisonous gas, and you are telling us to get out through these vents.” Tim said, “Any other ideas?” Tom said, “Let us release all the prisoners and run with them.” Tim asked, “Are you serious right now, because these guys don’t have enough energy to wake up, and you are telling me to run with them. I’ll stick with Max’s plan. But before entering, we need to get masks.” Tom said, “Umm Tim, did you forgot what we came here for?” Tim replies, “But where is it?” Tom replies, “I think I saw it there. And the masks are also there.” Tim asks Max, “Can you wait for a moment because we have some work to do. I’ll come right now.” Tim asks Tom, “So, what is the plan?” Tom replies, “Who, you are asking me what to do? You are the one with the plan. You tell me what to do.” Tim says, “There are only 2 guards so let us take them down and quickly get out of here.” Tom says, “I think that’s a fair plan.” So Tim and Tom take down both guys, and they take the parts of the machine, the masks; Tim takes his gun.
When they came back, Max was lying motionless. Tom said, “I think he is dead.” Max wakes. “Where were you guys? What took you so long? I just wanted to sleep and rest my body. Did you find the mask? C’mon, let's go.” All of them get into the air vents, and Tim gets in first, followed by Max and Tom. They were walking through the vents they found an opening; it was a dark place, so Tim said, “We will go through another one with the light.” When they were going forward, they didn’t know they were going around the gas chamber. When Tom was fed up, he found the opening and said, “I think this is the only way out.” Tim agrees and Max too. They all get down, and it was a long way down. They all fell on dead bodies. Tim woke up and asked, “What is this place?” Max said, “This is the gas chamber where he kills the people.” Tim asked, “How do we get out of here?” Max said, “We wait; they will come to get the bodies out. We act dead, and we are thrown out, and we run.”
They kept waiting, and as Max said, the officers came inside to take the bodies out, and they threw all the bodies into a container. The three woke up and got out of the chamber. The driver saw them going. He didn’t tell the offices because he thought they were soldiers who fought in the WW. Because the soldiers used gas masks to escape a lot of places.
