In That World PT-1

Jacob, who was a middle-classed man, lived down the street. His wife Suzy died with a strange disease. Joaquin was called jack for short he was not very well educated. He failed in his last year in college. Jacob was also not very well educated too. Jacob worked as a dishwasher in the hotel nearby. While his father was working alone, they could not come out of poverty, so Jack started to find a job. He visited a lot of places to find employment. He applied for a job at the hotel where his father was working, but he couldn’t find a job there. He went to the supermarket for a job but still couldn’t find a job. He looked everywhere near the town, yet couldn’t find any job, so he returned home.

Jacob and his friend Billy was there. Billy was Jacob’s friend for a long time. He is working in a hotel as a chef in the city. He was a nice guy who helped Jacob and Jack. He was also a kind man. He helped them whenever they were in need. Their house was small. There was a small table that approximately two people could sit in it. Billy was the one who bought food. They were eating steak, so jack sat down and started to eat with them, Jacob asked Jack, “Where have you been all the day?” Jack replied, “I’ve gone out to find a job.” Jacob asked, “And did you find any?” Jack replied, “No, I didn’t,”Jacob asked, “Why can’t you go outside the town and find new jobs there.” Jack said, “I don’t want to leave you here alone in this town.” Jacob politely told, “Son, I am not alone. Your mother is with me. So you could never leave me here alone. After eating their food, Jacob said, “Billy has a good job for you in the nearby city. You want to go there tomorrow morning. Pack your things now. He looked at the surroundings and took the photo of his mother and kept it in his purse.”

In the morning, they went to that big city. The first place they went was to that big building that anyone could see far away. It was the most significant and tallest building there. Billy told everything about that building and who owns it. Billy said, “This building is owned by a multibillionaire Oscar and his son Arthur.” He was astonished when he was looking at that building. He couldn’t hear anything that Billy was saying. Then after a long walk, he reached that place. He entered that place, and suddenly, a girl appears in front of him and asks him, “Hello sir, my name is Roxanne, but you can call me Roxy, and how can I help you today.” So Jack says, “Can you please tell me where the janitor’s room is?” So she was surprised when she heard that reply. She pointed towards that direction, and they went there. Billy introduced Jack to Jimmy. So Jimmy or Jim was an old cleaner in that place so. He told to meet up with the manager, and Jim said to him that the manager gets angry sometimes and be careful, and when Jack entered, the first thing he heard was “NEVER.” Jack remember this “NEVER.” When Jack told “Sir,” and he saw his old mate from the college. Steve was his name. He was Jack’s best friend from college.
